Last month CAM Construction was honored to have one of our residential remodeling projects featured in the home and design section of the Houston Chronicle.
For this Houston remodel, the homeowners wanted to update their 1930’s home to add more square footage and make the home more functional for their family and a better reflection of their personal style. To add square footage and make the existing footprint feel larger, we reconfigured the bedrooms and bathrooms, added a two car garage with storage, added an office, opened up the kitchen and living spaces, and added an upstairs family room with study nook. We also added a front porch and large indoor/outdoor back patio for dining and entertaining.
Construction features and design touches include steel windows in the kitchen and living areas, plaster walls and ceilings and floating plaster shelves in the kitchen, floor to ceiling built-in bookshelves and shiplap in the master bedroom.
